The Health Access Branch, which includes the Primary Care Office and the Oral Health Unit, aims to improve health care accessibility in Colorado, particularly for those facing health professional shortages. We address the primary, oral, and behavioral health care service needs of underserved populations, analyze social determinants of health, and incentivize professionals in underserved areas. We offer policy advice, assess community health needs, and plan to reduce health inequity across Colorado.
